Shipping policy

At ArtbyZulu, each piece is made to order. We deliver throughout South Africa.

Making and delivery time

We aim to make and deliver your order within 3–7 business days after payment is confirmed. Business days exclude weekends and South African public holidays. This is an estimate for the full process, including making and delivery. If we expect a material delay, we will contact you with an updated estimate and your available options. Custom requests or unusually large orders may require a separately agreed timeframe, which we will confirm before you commit to the order.

Delivery cost and method

Available delivery options and the full delivery charge are shown at checkout before payment. We will send an order confirmation after purchase and a dispatch update, including tracking details when the delivery provider makes them available.

Please provide a complete street address and a phone number where the courier can reach you. If a delivery provider cannot serve the address you enter, we will contact you before dispatch to arrange an alternative or a refund.

Delays and unavailable items

If we cannot fulfil an order within the agreed period, we will tell you promptly and discuss a revised date or cancellation and refund where applicable. Your rights under South African consumer law remain in place.

When your order arrives

Our ceramics are packed to protect them in transit. Please inspect the parcel when it arrives. If an item arrives damaged or is missing, contact us as soon as reasonably possible with your order number and photographs of the item and packaging so we can investigate and arrange an appropriate remedy. Your statutory consumer rights still apply even if you do not have photographs.

The goods remain at our risk until you or a person you authorise accepts delivery. If a delivery attempt fails or an address is incorrect, please contact us so we can arrange the next step. We will explain any additional charge before you agree to it.
